The Festival brought together new media producers, developers, distributors, animators, broadcasters, educators, publishers, telecommunications and cable professionals, film and video producers, and investors with a mix of musicians and culture pioneers to celebrate new media, look into the industry's future ... and do business!

Doodlez is an animated series that takes us inside the world of DOOD, an innocent and somewhat unwilling hero, and his all-powerful HAND. Starting with a blank page our hero is drawn into action by HAND. A few strokes of the pencil and DOOD begins on a comical adventures at the mercy of HAND’s unpredictable humor. The original concept for Doodlez was conceived by Gretha Rose President of Cellar Door Productions, and then further developed in conjunction with Director and co-creator Sean Scott – Gemini award winning director.

Doodlez (Season I) consists of 11, two (2) minute episode which were fully produced on Prince Edward Island. The program airs randomly on TeleTOON in Canada and Cellar Door has now been licensed for 39 additional episodes. Doodlez will also be accompanied by a very unique and exciting online animation engine called DOODLEZ INTERACTIVE that will allow fans of the series to learn about and participate in the creation of animation. Together, these characteristics make Doodlez extremely compatible in international markets.
